WORA Power Skating Program
Once again this year WORA has partnered with Goulbourn Skating Club to provide its members with the CanPower Power Skating Program. The program is a 20 Week program starting in October ending around March Break.

The Power Skating Sessions are now running with all WORA Sessions Full however if you are still interested in attending the Goulbourn Public sessions on Monday's 7 and 8pm please contact the Director At Large for more Info.

WORA/Goulbourn/CanPower Program Feedback
It is important to WORA that we get feedback on the program and that each of our players receive a program that leaves them with a lasting positive impression that their skating abilities have improved. If you have positive, constructive or negative feedback throughout the year associated with the program please provide an email summarizing your concerns or experiences to the Director At Large so that we can collect and meet with program leads to improve the program within CanSkate guidelines.
Why PowerSkating?
At the heart of ringette is the ability of a player to skate. However skating is an art that requires proper teaching and years of practice. The advantages in learning the proper techniques provides the player with efficiency, mobility, agility, explosiveness, power, stability, and speed. Rink athletes of all ages are continually updating and adapting their skating skills to ensure these benefits are continually gained through their professional lives. A better skater gains a better experience in the game because they gain the confidence and skills to participate and compete.

CanPower is a nationally regulated Power Skating program in Canada developed by experts in Hockey, Ringette, and Figure Skating.
