Tournament - Feb 19-21, 2010

A big 'Thank You' to all players, coaches, parents and our many volunteers for another successful tournament!

Congratulations to Sophie Usher of Metcalfe, winner of our draw for a free National Ringette School camp this summer.  The National Ringette School is offering various camps in Ontario this year, including Top Gun camps.  All camps include an on-ice curriculum and plenty of off-ice fun.  More information can be found at www.nationalringetteschool.com .  West Ottawa Ringette would like to thank the National Ringette School for their generous donation of the ringette camp.

H1N1 Precautions

In order to help prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus we ask that all players, parents and coaches take the following precautions:

Players should not share water bottles during practices or games.  Water bottles should be clearly labelled with the player's name and/or number.  Water bottles should be sanitized frequently.

Players should not remove their gloves to shake hands after a game - they should 'bump' gloves instead.

Bench staff should have hand sanitizer and wipes available in the dressing room.

And most importantly, if you are sick, please stay home until you are well.
