The U12P Little team entered the final tournament of the season with great expectations and heavy hearts, playing without one of their teammates who was sidelined by a serious illness after the WORA tournament. The girls were very emotional entering Provincials, but they battled to a 4-1 round robin tournament, in the highest bracket, to finish second in the standings.
Down early in the semifinal game the girls battled back, but came up short, losing 3-2 and earning a bronze medal. While the final results sting a bit, the girls can be encouraged with having played against the top 5 teams in the province and coming home with a medal.
They finished undefeated in regular season play and earned 3 gold, 1 silver and a bronze, medaling in all five of their tournaments.
The team would like to thank their coaches and parents for all of their time and efforts put into this amazing season.
Way to go Blue Blast!
