U14AA Fioravanti – TEAM ONTARIO U14AA 2019!!!

Congratulations to the U14 AA Fioravanti team on winning provincial gold in North Bay! With this win, the team becomes the U14AA Team Ontario for 2019. This is an amazing accomplishment and the first time in WORA’s history for a team to become Team Ontario!

After an undefeated six game round robin, the team landed in 3rd place to face off against the Waterloo Wildfire team in the semis.  Incredible determination and focus led the team to a 5-2 win over the #1 ranked Waterloo.  The team went on to meet their rival, GCRA, in a hard fought battle that took them into OT.  The U14’s scored the winner in the 5th minute of OT to become Provincial Champions! Great teamwork and determination drove them through this 8 game tournament to win the gold.  They arrived in North Bay as West Ottawa and came home as Team Ontario!!!
