Reminder on WORA Change Room Policy

With the season upon us we wanted to send a reminder to all parents, players and bench staff with regards to the WORA change room policy.

West Ottawa takes this policy seriously and we rely on all our members to help ensure all our players are protected by it.

Please review the Change Room Policy to ensure you are aware of all protocol with regards to change rooms.

Electronic devices may not be used to take photographs in the dressing room at any time.

U12 Tryouts – WORA Registration now open

The WORA registration for U12 Competitive Tryouts is now open!

IMPORTANT: Players trying out for our U12 Provincial (Competitive) teams should register for the tryouts in two places:

1. ERRA Competitive Try Out Registration
2. WORA Online Registration (in addition to regular season registration)

Our new tryout jersey program is launching this season starting with the U12 provincial team tryouts. When registering your player, there will be a one-time fee to purchase a tryout jersey.

Communication On Executive Board Changes

Hi WORA families,

Happy almost summer!

We wanted to bring you up to speed on some recent changes to the executive board based on the AGM and some subsequent changes after that meeting.

After the AGM meeting/elections we had 3 positions open up. We have been successful in filling 2 of those positions.

This was done based on our bylaws 7 section B see link


We are still currently looking for a Director of Logistics at this time. If you have any interest or questions with regards to the position please reach out to executive@westottawaringette.com.

Early Bird Registration for 2018/2019 Now Open

We are pleased to announce that registration opens May 25th for the 2018/19 ringette season. Early bird rates will be in effect until June 30th.

To register for next season please go to our on-line registration site. Existing members can log in using your PIN numbers (if you have forgotten your PINs you can have them emailed to you from the site – look for ‘Have Your Forgotten Your PIN’). New members will need to sign up for an account (a step by step guide is provided on the site).

Please Note: You will be required to either opt in or opt out of our grocery card fundraising program at time of registration. For those not familiar with the program please visit our web site here for more information.
