WORA’s Lisa McMinn Receives Robert MacKean Scholarship

Congratulations to our very own Lisa McMinn, who is the 2019 recipient of the NCRRL’s Robert MacKean Scholarship.

The scholarship recognizes a U19 player who has shown a commitment to volunteerism and to the true spirit of the sport, who will be proceeding to post secondary education and will either continue to play, coach or officiate ringette in some capacity.

This is an award in memory of Robert MacKean, who was a very active member of the ringette community in many different roles including President of the NCRRL.

Well done, Lisa! Thank you for your many valuable contributions to ringette and to our association as a player, coach, and volunteer.
